Reiki Insurance FAQs
Can I add my spouse or employees to my policy?
No, we offer an individual Reiki practitioner insurance policy and each practitioner is responsible for his or
her own policy.
Why can't this policy be put in my business's name?
This is an individual Reiki liability insurance policy. It must be in the practitioner's name but as a sole
proprietor your business name is also covered. If you have a LLC, corporation or partnership, your business
may be added as an additional insured for an
additional $10.00.
What does this policy not cover?
This policy does not cover invasive practices including acupuncture, or colonic educators. It also does not
cover herbal counseling. This policy does not cover you for the use of T-bars or for charges of sexual
harassment or transmission of HIV or a STD.
What do I do if I have a claim?
To place a claim, call 1-800-222-1110 to report the event as soon as possible. A claim form will immediately
be mailed to you.
After I have stopped practicing, am I still covered?
As long as your policy was in effect at the time of the incident, you are covered under our policy. You must
report a professional liability claim or product liability claim within 2 years after your policy expires.
If I lose my confirmation of coverage, what do I do?
If you misplace your confirmation of coverage, just call 1-800-222-1110 and you will be mailed a copy free
of charge. Your confirmation of coverage is your proof that you have coverage. We urge our clients to
keep their confirmation of coverage in a secure place with their other important documents.
Can I ever cancel my policy and get a refund?
As you are immediately enrolled into the system and your certificate is e-mailed to you immediately, there
can be no refunds from our policy.
What is your privacy policy?
The ICRT Reiki Membership Association and Massage Magazine is sensitive to the privacy interests of
clients and believes that the protection of those interests is a significant responsibility. In acknowledgment
of its obligations, we have adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers
that it acquires in the course of its business:
